The Him Jyoti School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As most of the girls come from schools in remote areas and have limited exposure to English, the major focus in the first few years of schooling is teaching English.
Through its rigorous curriculum and exceptional teachers, Him Jyoti School steers the students to high academic standards. The school offers a variety of subjects at the Senior Secondary level ensuring multiple opportunities for career courses after school in prestigious institutions of higher learning. The school seeks guidance for the staff and students from professional career counsellors to develop an ideal curriculum. The teaching-learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled. The Academic block is Wi-Fi enabled and all classrooms are equipped with Smart TVs to enhance learning through digital resources.

The Stem App aims to inspire girls to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers. “EY STEM tribe” is a mobile app for activity-based learning. It engages girls on their mobile devices with an entertaining STEM experience. Girls choose STEM related topics based on their interests. To help incentivize learning, they earn points as they complete an activity, such as reading an article, interviewing members of their community, completing an experiment or watching a video.
This is a mentor based learning program that provides guidance to the students through value-based English conversation. There is one mentor per student. The primary goal is to improve the conversational and social skills of the students.

The Institute for Career Studies (ICS), is a non-profit educational organisation established in 1985 by Dr Amrita Dass, a leading educationist and career consultant. It is an organisation with a mission to help individuals, organisations, and communities achieve their career goals.
iDreamCareer (IDC) is India’s leading EdTech venture that focuses on providing unbiased career counselling and guidance services to students. It provides career guidance to students through its comprehensive tests, personalised guidance reports and counselling sessions with domain experts.
EYF Disha Mentoring is an initiative started by Education Yatra Foundation (EYF). It is a mentoring program that helps young students from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue higher education and gain employable skills. The program works by providing mentees with guidance from mentors from diverse backgrounds. Mentees are matched with mentors who provide them with personalised guidance, support, and advice.
We are proud to share that each year the girls receive scholarships to pursue graduate courses after school. Recently the girls have qualified for full scholarships from prestigious institutions such as Ashoka University, Aziz Premji University, BML College, DIT University, GB Pant University, KREA University and Quantum University.
